When Was The Last Time You Did An Oil Check On Your Harley?

Double-cream on your chocolate cake is great!

But, if the same thing happens while you opt for an oil change – it’s a different horror story altogether. And, if it’s your Harley that we are talking about…you are doomed by now!

You have no option now but to go for replacing Harley partsin Brisbane.
This is caused mainly due to 3 reasons:

a.    A failing water pump seal

If water bypasses the seal and gets into the engine, it can resemble double cream! It’s certainly not a good sign and demands immediate technician’s attention.

b.    Water crossings

If there are deep water crossings, water can seep into the engine manifold through the crankcase breather and cause similar damage.

c.    Blown out gasket

Especially, if you take your Harley for long de-tour, overheating can at times cause the gasket to blow out or crack. This is a serious issue and can only be identified once you go for an oil change.

If all else fails, you have to get your Harley parts replaced in Brisbane. As automobile experts state, the first step to remedy is to identify the problem. Then, comes the repair or replacement part.

Thus, to avoid this freak show, take your Harley Davidson for a routine maintenance at any local certified garage. Every time you drop your mean machine to a service station, multiple oil flushes are performed to clean and clear the oil.
It’s costly, isn’t it? Yes!

But, certainly not as expensive as going for an engine rebuild. And, since these symptoms can only be mended if caught in time, hence go for a routine oil check-up (once a week at least).

One more thing….

When you visit a garage, ask the technician to inspect the filter cap and dip stick (in search of creamy build-up). Follow these tips and you’re ready to rock the open highways!
